Jamila Afrika – DJ
DJ Jamila Afrika is an established Massachusetts and Rhode Island-based DJ with over a decade of experience spinning at clubs, private events, corporate functions, and weddings. Known for curating dynamic and inclusive musical experiences, they are sought-after presence at major seasonal events in Provincetown. With a versatile music selection and an engaging presentation style, DJ Jamila Afrika brings energy, professionalism, and a deep understanding of diverse audiences to every event she performs.

Tipping our platform partner, Givebutter, is also optional! To opt out of tipping, go to the final payment screen of your transaction and click the percentage box in the “Add a tip to support Givebutter” section. Select “Other” and either leave the box blank or type in 0.
Why tip? Tips allow Givebutter to offer their service with no platform fees for the organizations who use it. This helps reduce the financial barriers for organizations to start fundraising!

Living With Hope
In this series, Greg Salvatori transforms the Provincetown’s Pilgrim Monument tower into a symbol of safety, joy, and hope. The golden tower is a beacon in the dark for the LGBTQ community.
For Salvatori, the tower metaphor is both cultural and personal. Raised as a Jehovah’s Witness, he grew up in the shadow of the Watchtower, the religion’s dominant symbol, an image of oppression and hate. This series captures his journey from one kind of tower to another, from an ostracizing and cruel symbol of his past to jubilant works of joy and acceptance today.
