Recent changes on the U.S. Supreme Court and uncertainty around the unfolding presidential election have led many LGBTQ parents to worry about their families’ legal security.
The good news is that there are ways to make sure your family is legally protected, and if you’ve already taken those steps they can’t be undone.
On November 6, GLAD Senior Attorney Patience Crozier and Massachusetts family law attorney and GLAD Board Chair Joyce Kauffman held a panel to answer common questions about co-parent adoptions, Voluntary Acknowledgments of Parentage, and other ways to secure your legal relationship with your children.
