June 6 marks a heartbreaking day that will have profound consequences for thousands of transgender servicemembers, the US military, and our country.

Thousands of transgender servicemembers are being forced to make a deeply painful choice that is no choice at all – whether to take voluntary separation because of the Trump administration’s transgender military ban.

There is nothing voluntary about this. No matter what decision people make, these courageous individuals are being forced out of careers of service to which they have dedicated their lives.

GLAD Law and NCLR are proud to represent our dedicated clients, who serve across all branches and at all levels of the military. We will continue the fight in court alongside them to overturn this demeaning, baseless, and destructive ban.
