Upholding “X” Markers on New Hampshire Identification

Update: HB1165 died in the House
GLAD Law submitted testimony in opposition to HB1165, legislation that would remove “X” designations on state identification cards and deny nonbinary and intersex individuals access to identification that accurately reflects who they are. This bill would undo bipartisan legislation that has been in place without issue for over six years and deny nonbinary and intersex individuals from the dignity and safety of having accurate identification.
